A parable about the situation of the First Nations, seen from a female perspective.。本作叙述二大宗教佛教与基督教的创始者——佛祖和耶稣，两人在度过世纪末后到人间度假，在东京一起租了间公寓过生活的故事。剧情大多围绕在二人与现代社会的互动以及各种取材自佛教与基督教的题材元素上。。杨树屯村召开了选举新村长大会。候选人杨义（李东坡饰）和三叔杨四维（姜文义饰），通过投票最终杨四维以一票胜出，当选了新村长。村民让三叔解决目前的实际问题，三叔却把责任都推在杨义身上……。
