以杂志编辑部为舞台，讲述四十岁出头的编辑长相乐（大东骏介饰），因过于追求自我而被同事疏远，唯一陪伴他的只有爱犬柴犬。走投无路之际，他突发奇想创办“柴犬专门杂志”。然而聚集而来的却是一群怪咖——包括怕狗的编辑石森（饭丰万理江饰）。在混乱中，狗狗以温柔目光化解隔阂，人与人、人与犬之间也渐渐建立起羁绊，是一部描绘令和时代人际关系与治愈之力的温暖群像剧。。It's amazing to have finally seen this lost film. Poor Mark Burns died this year without ever having seen the finished film! Why was it lost? It's quite good but I can understand that even if this film had a normal release in cinemas it would not have been a hit. It's too sad and tragic. The performances are great, tho.
