As a cinematic travelogue in a contemporary Istanbul, the film explores Komurciyan’s farsighted relationship with the concepts of looking, seeing, and viewing. In his book titled History of Is...。沃恩（杰弗里·迪恩·摩根饰）为挽救病重女儿被迫成劫匪，与搭档（戴夫·巴蒂斯塔饰）抢劫了赌场大亨教皇（罗伯特·德尼罗）300万美金。不料接应的同伙临阵脱逃，他们被迫劫持了一辆载着孕妇、小孩、老人等一众乘客的巴士。在全美及媒体的时刻关注下，他们受到了以克丽丝为首的特警追捕，与此同时，赌场派来的杀手也在步步逼近……面对失控的局面、乘客安危和医院缴费期限，沃恩能否在12小时内挑战不可能，在疯狂暴走的同伴、接连不断的特警攻击中成功拿走巨额劫款并解救人质生命？。
